dengue feva

as for this week

i have been in and out of the hospital, policlinic and clinic. ummi has been admitted to hospital ampang yesterday after referred by policlinic desa pandan. a sick person to be referred here and there is a very troublesome process. later at the end of the day, she was discharged by dr raman which is a big fat relieve...nonetheless, things got bad when ummi was back home, she's showing even worse sickness. very fatigue, very weak, diarrhea, bone ache, and those other symptoms, sick she has been very sick that she claimed this state of illness is worse than giving birth's of me..

ummi is very well known at her school as someone who rarely or could be never, taking leaves, any kind of leave even emergency leave and that makes her some kind 'sick-less' lady. ironlady teacher i tell you.

and as time ticks, the sick moment goes by, again, as been persuaded by dr raman, ummi and along (who is also sick) has to be referred again at poliklinik desa pandan to have her blood checked. affirmative. the young doctor who was on call i believe, in few ticks of minutes, he made one simple dimple decision to have my ummi sent straight to HKL after simple diagnose, a  major suspect of dengue fever patient.

and for the first time in my life, i got to ride the ambulance turbulently back to the place where i was born 23 years ago. this is yet to be my first time getting in HKL ever since i was born. as the siren etched its loudness to scream and chase away other cars to get him a free lane to HKL, i noticed that the inner side of the ambulance itself is gloomy which makes the patient even gets sick-er. again, to repeat, ummi is one very strong iron lady. she's cool despite the doctor informing me that she has a very low blood pressure - medically speaking, she can faint at anytime and as we are all aware, dengue fever is directly respondent to the platelets level in the blood. she's 86 yesterday, and dropped to 80.

afterall, not to mention other havoc and messes been through, now that it is already at the end of the day, she is warded in HKL. Allah has been with us during all this journey that Along is actually getting better and hopefully ummi will get better tomorrow. Traditional beliefs that i've got from my surroundings - could be used by other fellows of your family just in case, try Sup Ketam preferably Ketam Nipah (dari segi islam, makruh hukumnya untuk makan), Air dari Pucuk betik, Jus Kurma, Buah Jambu Batu, Buah Manggis, Air Kelapa Muda (fresh and pure only), and on top of all these secrets, do drink a lot of water. dengue patients have to drink a loooooot of H20 without fail.

one thing, if you are suspected to be a dengue fever patient, it is best to have you referred to a public hospital rather than private clinic. this would ease everyone, to be cautious to be exact. now that ummi was affirmative to be a primary dengue fever suspect, all places she has been all this while will be fogged. you can  term this as, individual social responsibility.

i enjoy the hospital environment among the doctors. i envy their ability to discuss splendidly on their specialties. very much like Dr House. Big kudos to you and to my part, it leads to one question to myself, can i be that good at my field?

till then. let us pray together ummi, along, and all of us will stay healthy as always. amin.
